We first opened for business on Boxing Day 1955 and have been serving the community of the Central Coast and Shelly Beach ever since… We are a family oriented Surf Life Saving Club offering Nippers, Surf Sports Competition, Surf Education, Training and of course we take great pride patrolling our beach making it safe for those who visit.

Nippers
Surf Life Saving is a great activity for growing a child’s confidence, knowledge and skills in the beach environment. Not only will your child have fun and meet new friends, but they will also become part of an iconic organisation that has served the Australian community for over 100 years.
Lifesaving
Each summer our members don the iconic red and yellow uniforms on our beach. Every single patrol member is trained to the highest possible standard and dedicates countless hours each season to protecting the coastline.
Surf Sports
Surf sports are a great way to not only improve your lifesaving skills but also to actively participate in a healthy lifestyle. Each season there is an opportunity for our members to participate at a club, branch, state, national and even international level. Athletes can compete in a full range of beach and water events, pool rescue events, surf boats, surf board riding events

We have two unique dining experiences which provide great service and spectacular views.
