In Surf Life Saving we determine everyone's age by the age they are on the 30th September of the starting year, for this season its 2023.

• U6 - 5yrs old on 30th September 2023
• U7 - 6yrs old on 30th September 2023
• U8 - 7yrs old on 30th September 2023
• U9 - 8yrs old on 30th September 2023
• U10 - 9yrs old on 30th September 2023
• U11 - 10yrs old on 30th September 2023
• U12 - 11yrs old on 30th September 2023
• U13 - 12yrs old on 30th September 2023
• U14 - 13yrs old on 30th September 2023
• U15 - 14yrs old on 30th September 2023
• U17- 15,16yrs old on 30th September 2023
• U19 - 17,18yrs old on 30th September 2023
• Open - 19yrs old on 30th September 2023
• Masters - 30yrs old on 30th September 2023

We accept Active Kids vouchers for school aged children to the value of $50.

The best way to join or renew with an active kids voucher is online. For new members please folllow the instruction provided in the above tab. For renewing members please follow the online renewal process.

Alternatively you are able to attend one of our registrations days and redeem your Active Kids voucher on the day.

As a new member you have two options, register online or attend one of two registration days at our club. We encourage all new members to sign up online and attend our Registration Days to meet our recruitment team who will welcome and introduce you to Shelly Beach SLSC. When you attend the Registration Day you will also be able to try on and get decked out in our fantastic club apperal. You can also view and purchase our apparel through the online shop.

It is our Club policy that every child in the U6s - U14s must have a parent join with them.

• Sunday 10 September - 10am - 1pm
• Saturday 16 September - 10am - 1pm

Online Registration

To register online follow the below steps.

Note*As new members joining Surf Life Saving for the first time it is best to set up each family member as individuals before creating a family group.

1. Log onto Lifesaving Online https://sls.com.au/join/
2. Find Your Club – Select NSW
3. Join A Club – Select SLS Club – Type in Shelly Beach and select
4. Select Individual
5. Complete contact details and emergency contact details (Under 18s –
   parent/guardian will be copied in on all Email/SMS communications
6. Select Joining Fee from the drop-down box
7. Add On Fee – select Next
8. Active Kids Voucher page – if redeeming a voucher please add details or leave blank if not redeeming
   and press continue
9. Summary Page – this page will prompt you to create a Members Portal account –
   CREATE AN ACCOUNT
10. Tick Acknowledgement
11. Final page will take you to “Make a Payment”, then “Pay Online” where payment can
    be made via credit card. For other options of payment please email office@shellybeachsurfclub.com.au

If you renewed online last year the process is very simple: log into members portal using your existing portal username and password - https://members.sls.com.au/members/

• Select renew membership for Shelly Beach and follow the prompts.
• Pay by following the payments options.
  • You can pay by credit card online or
  • Pay directly to the Club's bank account.

• Family of two $195
• Family of three $280
• Family of four $335
• Five or more $360

Any members who have not turned 15 prior to 1/10/23 are required to have a parent/guardian join as well.
