2025/26 Registrations
Welcome to the 2025/2026 season. This year we will again be renewing registrations online and also encourage new members to join online. Renewals and new registrations are being accepted now for the 2025-2026 season. Online registration and renewal save our club a significant amount of money as well as being environmentally friendly.
In Surf Life Saving we determine everyone’s age by the age they are on the 30th September of the starting year, for this season its 2025.
**All Nippers need to have turned 5 prior to 1 October 2025 to join **
- U/6 – 5 years old on 30th September 2025
- U/7 – 6 years old on 30th September 2025
- U/8 - 7 years old on 30th September 2025
- U/9 - 8 years old on 30th September 2025
- U/10 - 9 years old on 30th September 2025
- U/11 - 10 years old on 30th September 2025
- U/12 - 11 years old on 30th September 2025
- U/13 - 12 years old on 30th September 2025
- U/14 - 13 years old on 30th September 2025
- U/15 – 14 years old on 30th September 2025
- U/17 – 15, 16 years old on 30th September 2025
- U/19 – 17, 18 years old on 30th September 2025
- Open – 19 years old on 30th September 2025
- Masters – 30 years old on 30th September 2025
We accept Active Kids vouchers for school aged children to the value of $50.
Active Kids Vouchers are required to be manually processed this year due to a change on the Service NSW platform. If using any vouchers, you will need to deduct from your total payable and make a manual payment direct to the Club's bank account (e.g. Family of 3 - $310.00 less 1 Active Kids voucher $50 = balance of $260.00 payable).
As a new member you have two options, register online or attend one of two registration days at our club. We encourage all new members to sign up online and attend our Registration Days to meet our recruitment team who will welcome and introduce you to Shelly Beach SLSC. When you attend the Registration Day you will also be able to try on and get decked out in our fantastic club apparel. You can also view and purchase our apparel through the online shop.
It is our Club policy that every child in the U6s - U14s must have a parent join with them.
Registration days
- Saturday 13 September 2025 – 10.00am to 1.00pm
- Sunday 21 September 2025 - 10.00am – 1.00pm
Uniform
- Our Uniform Shop will operate on our advertised Registration Days – Saturday 13/9/25 10.00am to 1.00pm and Sunday 21/9/25 – 10.00am to 1.00pm.
Online Registration – Nipper Families
To register online follow the below steps. Note new Nipper families will need to create a Family Group
- Visit Surf Life Saving Online at https://hub.sls.com.au/sign-up
- Create a Username (Note: Please create the Parent’s account first as they will be the Primary Member)
- Complete fields to Create a SLS Hub Account and create a password – Sign Up
- Enter verification code sent to email – Verify Code
- Choose “Brand New Member” or “Current/Past Member” (this will search the database for your previous records)
- Type in Club – Select Shelly Beach
- You will then see the Club’s contact details – Select the Parent and family options
- Create Group/Family Name
- Enter names as per ID documents with the Primary member first
- Then select Family Plus icon to add family members before proceeding to next page. Follow the same process to add all family members
- Next
- Complete contact details for family members, including Emergency contact details. (Primary member details will auto populate for other family members)
- Next
- Tick the acknowledgement & Parent/Guardian Consent – Next
- Select the Joining fee – for a family select the family total against the Primary member and $0.00 amount for child/children. – Next
- Make Payment – credit card, Bank Transfer or Other. If paying by bank transfer, the bank account details will appear after choosing the option. Please use your “SURNAME REGO” as reference for any EFT payments.
Online Registration – Individuals

- Create a Username

- Type in Club – Select Shelly Beach
- Select Individual
- Enter personal details – Next
- Enter member details - Next
- Complete Declaration – Next
- Select Joining fee from the options – Next
- Select Payment Method and process payment

INDIVIDUAL WITH ONLINE ACCOUNT –
Logon to Members Portal – you will be redirected to the new SLS Hub - https://hub.sls.com.au/
You will be requested to change your password for the New Hub, follow instructions to verify your account.
Go to Memberships – either via the Dashboard (Memberships-View more) or “More” tab on top toolbar (Memberships-Organisation)
- Renew
- Select the Season - Tick Declaration – Next
- Select your renewal fee – Next
- Select payment option and make payment – Credit Card, Bank Transfer, Other.
Your request will now be submitted to the Club for approval.
FAMILY GROUPS –
Primary member to log onto Members Portal - you will be redirected to the new SLS Hub - https://hub.sls.com.au/
You will be requested to change your password for the New Hub, follow instructions to verify your account.
- Go to Memberships – Family Group
- Renew
- Select the Season – Tick family members to renew – Tick Declaration – Next
- Select renewal fee – Next
- Select payment option and make payment – Credit Card, Bank Transfer, Other
Your request will now be submitted to the Club for approval.
*Note* for Members who have previously been notified of a 100% patrol discount you will need to select the 100% renewal option. No payment is required if processing an individual renewal. If you are renewing a family, you can deduct the single membership fee of $110 from the family total. Select Bank Transfer at the payment option and make an EFT payment to the Club’s bank account.
*Note* returning patrolling members are also entitled to a 50% discount this year if renewing prior to 31/8/25. Simply choose the Early Bird renewal option.

Any members who have not turned 15 prior to 1st October 2025 are required to have a parent/guardian join as well.

Surf sports are a great way to not only improve your lifesaving skills but also to actively participate in a healthy lifestyle.Each season there is an opportunity for our members to participate at a club, branch, state, national and at international level.Athletes can compete in a full range of beach and surf, pool rescue, surf boats, and surf board riding events. -
Nipper Parents
As a parent there are various roles in which you are able to encourage and assist your child within Shelly Beach Nipper program.

Our education program extends to all members through engaging and practical courses to become qualified lifesavers. Our goal is to build the capacity of our members enhancing the skills in all lifesaving activities. We offer a pathway to all areas of Surf Life Saving.
