Another Successful Year

Once again we, Shelly Beach Surf Life Saving Club have had another successful year in all areas of Club life. Thank you to all our members without whom we would not be as successful as we are and able to continue to provide a vital and vigilate service back to the community.

We thank our outgoing committee members for their dedication and service in thier resprective roles and we welcome and congratulate our incoming Board of Management and committee members for the coming 2023/24 season:

Shelly Beach Surf Club – New Member Registrations 2022/2023

Registration is open for both returning & new Nippers and members. These can be completed online if you cannot make one of our in person registration days planned for 10am-1pm on Saturday the 10th of September and Sunday the 18th of September.

Please note:

– All Nippers need to have turned 5 on or before 30/9/22
– A parent is also required to join Nippers – 1 parent per family. Family member fees include parent and child/children
– Payment should be made at the time of processing your online application. The last page will take you through to the Payment Gateway/Make a Payment. This information will be forwarded to our Registrar
– Please regularly check our Facebook page and website for updated information relating to the coming season
– Further details can be located on our Nippers web page – Nippers
– Any returning members who have received notification relating to a discount, please ensure you deduct this amount from your total membership fee.

Restaurant Expression of Interest (EOI)

Shelly Beach Surf Life Saving Club is inviting any interested parties to provide an expression of interest (EOI) to operate and maintain ‘The Balcony’ restaurant located upstairs at Shelly Beach Surf Club, Shelly Beach Road, Shelly Beach.

If this is of interest to you, complete information is located at the link below including how to respond to the EOI.

Responses to the EOI must be submitted by 4pm on Thursday the 30th of June 2022.

– A parent is required to join with Nippers – 1 parent per family. Family member fees include parent and child/children
– Active Kids vouchers can be used but we can only claim $95 as this is the total of a single membership
– Payment should be made at the time of processing your online application. The last page will take you through to the Payment Gateway/Make a Payment. This information will be forwarded to our Registrar
– Please regularly check our Facebook page and website for updated information relating to the coming season due to the current environment
– Further details relating to any uniform purchases will also be advertised at a later date

Shelly Beach Surf Club – New Member Registrations 2020/2021

The club is now taking registrations for new Nippers and members. We strongly encourage all new memberships to be done online – instructions for which can be found by clicking on the below link. The link also contains the details on costs including Active Kids vouchers.

– A parent is required to join with Nippers – 1 parent per family. Family member fees include parent and child/children
– Active Kids vouchers can be used but we can only claim $75 as this is the total of a single membership
– Payment should be made at the time of processing your online application. The last page will take you through to the Payment Gateway/Make a Payment. This information will be forwarded to our Registrar
– Please forward a copy of ID (passport, licence, birth certificate) to our Registrar – Leisa Griffin on 0404487517 or email mlgriff@bigpond.net.au. ID will need to be verified before registration is approved.

Rego Days – Saturday 5/9/20 & Sunday 13/9/20 – 11.00AM to 1.00PM – Bookings Required

Due to Covid-19 we recommend as many new members join online. We will be holding rego days but you will need to book a time to avoid multiple people congregating at the club. To book contact Leisa on the above details.

Uniform Shop:

Our Uniform Shop will be open on rego days. Please book a time between 11.00am and 1.00pm on either rego day by contacting Leisa. This is to allow us to apply our Covid-19 protocols.
